In the past the firm has also acted as counsel to study the feasibility of Nuclear Power Corporation Ltd. (NPCIL) entering into a joint venture for its Kaiga Unit 3 & 4 having private equity participation and determining the necessary amendments to the relevant legislation that may be required for making such joint venture viable; advised GMR Hyderabad International Airport in drafting of Request for Proposal and License Agreement/Retail Sales Facilities at the New Hyderabad International Airport. Legal advise on issues related to interalia government policies on foreign investment in retail trading. The firm advised Standard & Poor’s for its open offer for acquisition of majority stake in Credit Rating Information Services of India Ltd. (CRISIL), had earlier also advised them in acquisition of a minority stake in CRISIL from Asian Development Bank; Advising Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), one of the largest Real Estate Management consultant in the world, on Structuring and acquisition of Trammell Crow Meghraj Properties Consultant Pvt. Ltd., a company in Real Estate Management.
